What food sells the best at open air markets?

My friend has made a fortune selling cheese and I want to come up with a food idea to sell at this market as well. Does anyone know of the best (and possibly easiest) and most tempting food products I could sell to hungry customers? I appreciate it in advance!|||Fruit, other single serving foods and single serve drinks [bottles/cans of soda, juice, energy drinks etc].

Definitely carry chips and fruit...both of these are cheap to buy wholesale and a quick eat for people. You can also keep a cooler around and sell cold drinks, which are always popular at open air markets. you might also try setting up a grill and grilling burgers / hot dogs / etc if it is okay with the market

i think you would make more money by taking the quick eat restaurant route instead of selling one particular item.|||Anything on a stick - Seriously - I'm not joking|||It depends were you live and what kind of people live near the area or go to that flea market. Where I live the majority of the people are hispanic, mostly mexican so you will see a lot of people walking around with their (elote) corn on a stick with mayonese, lemon, white chesse and hot sauce. Or (esquite) like a corn soup in a cup with the same ingredients as the (elote) corn but inside the cup.

You will also find small restaurants with a popular soup called "menudo" its a pork soup, and obviously tacos and mexican burguers which have oaxaca style white chesse (it can also be yellow) guacamole (avocado sauce with onions, tomatoe and jalapeno's).

I think it depends were you live and what the people in your area are used to eating.

Good Luck!!!|||ahah cool if u reely wanna try to make a lot of money selling food at an open air market the key word to aim for is international! get some crazy food noone has ever seen before! or u can have a variety like sweets from all over the world! or to make it easier u can just of yummy exotic fruits u luuv! if all else fails try selling ice cream. i cant go to a mall without being tempted with a cold stone or ben and jerrys icecream shop!!
