What type of food is best eaten before taking a medication?
For medicines meant to be taken with or after food, what type of food is best for preventing nausea or other negative side effects. My problem is that i am not hungry in the morning but this is when I am supposed to take several prescription medications. Is there a certain type of food that I will not have to ingest as much of to get the desired effect?|||A small amount of carbohydrates is usually effective. Some crackers, oatmeal, etc would be good. Milk is sometimes alright, but certain medications interact with dairy and should not be taken at the same time. Other medications interact with grapefruit juice. Without specifically knowing the medications you take it is hard to make a solid recommendation.|||Bites of SaNdwIches. The kind with thicker breads.|||Maybe a glass of milk|||I think a glass of milk would be the best..........or some fruit juices.
