How much food should we feed our 3 month old kitten?

She is only 3 months old, but she always meows for food. The bag of food says to give her 1/3 cup but is that per day or per feeding time? We would like to feed her twice a day, but we don't know how much to feed her and she is already starting to get a little chubby. She also tries to eat the dog food when she has none.

Thank you for your help!|||The recommended serving is the total amount to feed a cat per day. Since she is still a baby, break that 1/3 cup into a couple of smaller meals a day. Don't give her 1/3 cup each serving. You'll wind up with a chunky cat. |||cats STOP eating when they are full. i leave dry food and water available for my cats at all times, and feed them WET food twice a day. i have had cats my whole life, and i cant imagine not leaving them dry food all the time!!!!!|||Yes that is a good brand of food. I have a 16 yr old cat I feed him wet and dry and leave it there all day for him cause he eats a little at a time.
