How much food can i grow in a backyard garden?

I've got 15 by 20 feet in the Dallas Texas area. What kind of food can I grow there? Would that be enough space to grow food for one person?|||You can grow as much as it fits.

I can be enough for one person depending on 3 main factors:

1) Which plant are you planning to grow

2) How much you will eat out of that every day.

3rd and main factor: How hungry you are.

Zucchinis and squashes grow non-stop like crazy.|||you can certainly grow a lot more than you think!!

remember if you have window space/hanging basket space/etc this also means more is possible...

also start sprouting seeds!! this is a really quick easy way to make fresh %26amp; really nutritional salad all year round...wow i just put it in google but it is bringing up all sorts of crazy expensive sprouters you can buy but all you really need is a big jar and something to drain through (like a lid with holes in!!)

it's good to have the info on which seeds and how long to sprout as there are optimum times for best nutrition and taste, but start with alfalfa and you can't go wrong..

there's a whole load of books, some of which i dipped into a few years back, have a look at these sites and see what you think!!

this is one of the books i remember, there are loads of places selling it so take a look for best price, or try your local library??
